The New Zoo Revue
The New Zoo Revue, a live action children's show that ran between 1972-1977 was one of my favorites as a kid. It had funny episodes, original music, dancing and taught important life lessons. While Sesame Street was teaching about numbers and letters, The New Zoo Revue taught kids how to deal with their feelings and how they interacted with other kids.
I decided to do my own version of their intro but 2D animated. As a result, the creators of the show who were also the stars of the show saw it, loved it and as a result, we've struck up a friendship over the years, something I never imagined.
