Wonder
More than just an animated show intro. I was tasked with visually reimagining a world with the help of some talented writers. Wonder, an Amazing Life production, formally of Orange, is a show that features a wise owl named Ollie who teaches Bible lessons to young kids. Although beloved for years, the previous incarnation of the show was extremely dated and needed a complete overhaul. Wonder combines live action actors with puppets and 2D animation.
Additional supporting characters were developed and a face lift was given to the owl. Besides the characters, the world of Wonder has expanded greatly. It now features a very unusual treehouse with other regions to visit; seascape sandy beaches, Egyptian deserts, forests and mountain regions. It now has a land that lives up to the shows name.
My job was to design all new characters, backgrounds, and full animation. I also had the opportunity to design the new Wonder logo.
