Bedtime Prayer Bear & Friends
“A nightly quiet prayer time.”
Bedtime Prayer Bear & Friends is a relaxing night time prayers that help children learn how to pray. Each episode they are guided through various types of prayer to God through the direction of a lovable banjo playing soft spoken bear plush and his two friends, a wise Fox and a gentle Bluebird simply named Blue.
The show is designed to help parents wind down the day as their kids are preparing for bed. What better way than a calm animated prayer.
The look of the show is heavy with textures. The backgrounds feature a corrugated cardboard texture, simple shapes and soft hue colors. The characters are actual handmade blushes that have been photographed, brought into photoshop and rigged for animation.
I was also fortunate enough to have the talented Phoebe Sanders write and record some tasty banjo music used throughout the episode.
All art and animation including the sewing of the plush characters were done by Michael Kl. Foster.
