Wonder Bible Stories
An Amazing Life (Orange) production. At the core of Amazing Life is the Bible and it was a pleasure to bring these stories to life in animation. I was tasked with exploring a character style that was fun for young children and could be produced fast so the final designs became "modular." This means that bodies, heads, hairstyles and noses could be swapped to create new looking characters on the fly. Each month about 2 minutes of animation needs to be completed along with 18-24 full color illustrations, so the ability to create characters fast is vital.
Besides the characters, the environments had to be modular as well, so a a flat simple style was adopted.
